How it works
SSS contributions in 2026
All employed and self-employed Filipinos contribute to the Social Security System. The total rate is 14% of your Monthly Salary Credit (MSC) – split 9.5% employer and 4.5% employee for staff, or paid in full by voluntary and self-employed members.
SSS doesn’t charge against your raw salary. It rounds your pay to the nearest ₱500 step (the MSC) between ₱4,000 and ₱30,000 and applies the rate to that figure.
