Philippine income tax in 2026

Under the TRAIN Law (RA 10963), Filipinos earning ₱250,000 or less per year are exempt from income tax. For higher earners, the tax is progressive — you only pay the higher percentage on the portion of income above each bracket threshold, not on the whole amount.

On top of income tax, your employer also deducts SSS (4.5% of your salary credit), PhilHealth (2.5% employee share of a 5% premium), and Pag-IBIG (capped at ₱200/month for most workers). We compute these first, then apply the tax brackets to what’s left.
